The eve of Republic Day! January 2006! It’s been 60 yrs now! India has moved a lot of strides in these 60 yrs now, thanks to visionaries who made it possible. The next 60 is in our hands to make India a super power.

Anyway, Republic Day’s always associated with the issuing of awards like Padma Vibhushan, Padma Shri etc. I’m happy that the Government has decided to confer posthumous awards on Hemant Karkare, Sandeep Unnikrishnan and the others who lost their lives to save India from terrorists. And we had some surprises like Aishwarya Rai Bachchan getting an award. When will the government stop honouring people from the Cinema industry.

And tomorrow’s my review. Looking forward to it. Hopefully, we’ll get through with the least blows.
