After about 8.5 years, I visited Tiruvannamalai again during my visit to Chennai in 2025. The last time I visited was in January 2017 - in fact I did my first Vipassana session in [Dhamma Arunachala](https://arunachala.dhamma.org/vipassana/). I have a lot of fond memories of this place and I enjoyed my time at both Ramanasramam and the Arunachaleshwarar temple after the meditation session.

The eve of Republic Day! January 2006! It's been 60 yrs now! India has moved a lot of strides in these 60 yrs now, thanks to visionaries who made it possible. The next 60 is in our hands to make India a super power.
